Pediatric Neurology

Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Section of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is to promote the health of children with neurological disorders. We are a group of individuals with diverse interests and the common goal to maintain excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Current special interests in the Section include Pediatric Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Disorders, Neonatal Neurology, Neurooncology, Neurocutaneous Disorders, Neurogenetics, Headaches and General Pediatric Neurology.

We are committed to the teaching of medical students and residents to be future leaders in the fields of Pediatric Neurology, Neurology and Pediatrics. We also aim to be the educational resource for the community and health-care providers.

The Section of Pediatric Neurology will carry out clinical, translational and basic research in areas related to neurological disorders in children.
