About Our Program

UW Hospital and Clinics offers two adult and one pediatric fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. The program involves a two year full time experience (approximately 4000 hours), providing the necessary postdoctoral training hours required for licensure to practice psychology independently in the state of Wisconsin. The program is designed to provide clinical training and didactic experiences consistent with the Houston Conference Guidelines.

The program is based on practitioner-scholar model offering hands-on experience and education of relevant medical and neuropsychological conditions. Our intent is to prepare fellows for a career as a neuropsychologist and pursue Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through ABPP.

Previous graduates of our fellowship have gone on to practice neuropsychology at competitive locations including academic medical centers, community clinics, and VA’s.

We will recruit for adult and pediatric fellows in alternating years. Our next pediatric position will be for the 2017-2019 academic years, and our next adult positions will be for the 2018-2020 academic years.
