The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin provides quality care for people afflicted with diseases of the nervous system at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, American Family Children's Hospital, William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and Meriter Hospital, and conducts research in basic and clinical neuroscience in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Contributions to the Neurology Research and Education Fund will support advance treatments related to the neuroscience program and services. Gifts can be made to the Neurology Research Fund or to a specific area of interest.
Stroke Research Fund (12583701)
Contributions to the Stroke Research Fund will support the research efforts conducted by the University of Wisconsin Department of Neurology to decrease the burden of death and disability from stroke and increase quality of life for stroke survivors. Gifts can be made in someone’s memory or in honor of a particular individual.
Epilepsy Research and Education Fund (12582982)
Contributions to the Epilepsy Research Fund will support research efforts at the University of Wisconsin, Department of Neurology, by emphasizing patient quality-of-life through life-changing epilepsy research.

Charles G. Matthews Lecture Fund (12582296)
Contributions to the Neuropsychology Charles Matthews Research Fund will support research efforts conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Neurology to understand the causes of cognitive and behavioral complications of epilepsy in adults and children. Our goal is to develop treatments and identify ways in which to prevent these co-occurring problems. Gifts can be made in honor of or in memoriam of a particular individual.
Pediatric Neurology Research Fund (12586615)
Contributions to the Pediatric Neurology Research Fund will support the research efforts conducted by the University of Wisconsin, Department of Neurology, to better understand why seizures occur in children, determine the effects of seizures in children on brain function later in life, and find new and innovative ways to treat seizures and their consequences.
Neuromuscular Research Fund (12586616)
Contributions to the Neuromuscular Research Fund will support the research efforts conducted by the University of Wisconsin, Department of Neurology, to help diagnose and treat patients with a wide variety of muscles and nerve disease, including patients with ALS.
Multiple Sclerosis Research Fund (12586617)
Contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Research Fund will support the research efforts conducted by the University of Wisconsin, Department of Neurology, to support basic and clinical investigations in order to better understand and treat multiple sclerosis, a major cause of disability in young adults.
